Eula Banks, 96 of Hensley, formerly of Corning, passed away July 26, 2023 at home.

Mrs. Banks was born April 20, 1927 in Biggers. She was retired from Basler Electric and enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was of the Baptist faith.

On April 10, 1947, she married W. C. “Bill” Banks. They were married 61 years prior to his passing on March 5, 2009.

Survivors include her sons, Jim (Sarah) Banks of Hensley and Terry (Theresa) Banks of Athens; brother, Clois Bentley of Machesney Park, IL; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Joe Carl and Maude Beatrice (Reed) Bentley and brother, Euell Bentley.

Visitation was held Saturday July 29, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Graveside service and burial followed at 11 a.m. at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning.
