Bonnie Pierce, 77, of Corning, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at home. Mrs. Pierce was born on April 6, 1946 in Piggott, AR. She was retired having served the citizens of Clay County as Deputy Circuit Clerk for several years. She enjoyed shopping, scrap booking, painting, and card making. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by her daughter Laurie (Greg) Mock of Corning; grandchildren Dalton Price of Jonesboro, Corey (Ashley) Skaggs of Kennett, MO., Zowie (Jack) Davis of Du Quoin, IL., Elijah Rodery of Du Quoin, IL.; great grandchildren Gracie and Griffin Skaggs, with one more on the way; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cloyce Pierce; her son Larry Rodery; her parents Allen and Ettie (Bryan) Banks; brothers Dennis and Allen Banks and an infant sister Baby Banks.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 PM in the Corning Cemetery with Jason Guthrie officiating.
